You'll be on the top level of a foyer with enemies about to appear across from you on the other side of the room. If you turn right, you'll see your Glowing Omen.

| "Col. Loomis's report contained nothing about Kilo Squad's impaired vision due to exertion and injuries." Taking damage reduces visibility. |
| This isn't all that bad since when you are damaged, that's probably when you shouldn't be shooting anyway. The only way this significantly impacts your success if you get rushed or get in close because those split seconds where a shot may save you or get you killed may be really hard to make. |
Stock up on long range ammo and weapons, particularly the Markza if you can. There's a long range turret here which you should put part way down the stairs looking down. You'll also find a Tripwire Crossbow which you can use to set up defenses on your set of stairs. There are grenades just left of the top of the stairs which you can throw or set up as traps.
You'll be attacked pretty quickly so you'll want to try shooting as early as possible to prevent enemies from getting to you. The first wave will consist of Grubs and Kantus. The Kantus should be the first things you go after. Taking them out will make things a lot easier. After they are done, it will turn into a more traditional firefight for a little while with enemies fighting you from across the room.
While you're fighting just be careful because part way through the battle, an E-Hole will appear at the base of the stairs. This can be taken care of pretty quickly with a good grenade toss. Wear away the enemies and when they are gone, cross the lower level so you can get over to the side that the Grubs were on. As you go to climb the stairs, a Kantus will bust through a door below. Get to the top of the stairs and then turn left. Follow the walkway to the and turn right to check the wall behind the Troika for your [COG Tags].
When you have them, head down and get rid of the Kantus. Go through the doors and this will bring you to a closed set of doors. On the other side of those doors will be Grubs and Scorchers. There's a raised platform ahead and to the right. There's another further beyond that and on the left. Try to take those high points and it'll make the fighting a little bit easier. Just be sure to take your time when crossing this room because there's plenty of space. Rushing will only get you in a bad spot.
Once past these enemies, pass through the doors and go on to the end of the chapter.
