The Shooting Range in Grand Theft Auto V allows you to hone your shooting skills with various firearms, which has the added benefit of increasing your character's proficiency with them, unlocking a wide range of weapons and giving you 25% off on all weapons purchases if you manage to achieve gold ratings.
These challenges can be completed at either of the two shooting ranges found in the game for a fee of $14. The shooting range challenges you to hit targets as accurately as possible whilst building up a point multiplier.
The closer to the centre of the target you are the more points you get:
- Black = +10 Points
- Blue = +25 Points
- Red = +50 Points
- Yellow = +100 Points

There are six weapon categories in total, and each weapon within a given category has three sets of challenges to its name. These are the weapon categories:
- Hand Guns
- Submachine Guns
- Assault Rifles
- Shotguns
- Light Machine Guns
- Heavy Guns
| Note: You must complete all 18 shooting range challenges in order to achieve 100% completion |
