This first mission can be found in Vinewood Hills, where Franklin will find a dog who says a man is stuck in a tree. Follow the dog until you get to the man, whose name is Dom. He manages to coerce Franklin into some parachuting, so follow him and then get in the helicopter.
You can press the button mentioned to skip the travel time and go straight to where you jump out of the helicopter. Your drop zone, or target, is at the top of Mount Chiliad, so jump out and dive until you get close enough to deploy your parachute. Make sure you don't too steep with the parachute, otherwise you will die when you hit the ground.
Once you land on the ground, get on one of the bikes nearby and wait for Dom to land and do the same. You will now need to race Dom down Mount Chiliad, although you don't need to win the race (you do for one of the challenges). There are a couple of turns that can be sharp enough to send you over an edge, if you're going too fast, so make sure you don't go full speed. Once you reach the finish line, the mission will be over.
