This mission starts at Michael's house in Rockford Hills. After the initial scene is over, start walking towards the front of the house, when you receive a phone call and find out your son is in trouble. It looks like there's been a change in plans, so start driving towards Pacific Bluffs.
When you approach the end of the GPS route, you'll see a truck fly by with Michael's boat on it. Speed after it and get as close as possible to it, to let Franklin Clinton jump on board. There will be a short scene and then you will need to shoot the guy attacking Franklin.
Keep chasing after the yacht and after another very short scene, you'll have to drive to the left side and catch Jimmy with your car. Catch Franklin next and then continue chasing, until your car begins to break down. Since you won't be catching up to the truck now, turn around and head to Los Santos Customs. Once you get there, drive into the garage and repair the car (it's free this time), then drive Jimmy back to his house to finish the mission.
