Salvador was the first character unveiled for Borderlands 2 and his class is the Gunzerker. His main ability, when activated, grants him the ability to dual wield (also called gunzerking) any two weapons in his inventory.
He was born and raised on Pandora, which is different than the vault hunters in the previous game. He has a love for blowing people and things up, money, and loot.
ACTION SKILL: GUNZERKING
Cooldown - 42 seconds
Action Skill. Draw a second gun and go nuts! While Gunzerking you instantly regain 50% of your Total Health, gain Damage Reduction against enemy attacks, and constantly Regenerate Health and Ammo. Does not regenerate rockets.

|Auto-Load||3||1||Killing an enemy Instantly Reloads all of the guns that you have equipped that are not currently in your hands. Swapping guns after Auto-Loader has reloaded a gun triggers Locked & Loaded.|
|Money Shot||3||5||The last round fired from your magazine gains massive Bonus Damage (up to 80% per level). Guns with small magazines receive a smaller bonus. This skill works with all weapon types. The minimum magazine size for full bonus is 10.|
|Lay Waste||4||5||Kill Skill. Killing an enemy gives you increased Fire Rate (8% per level) and Critical Hit Damage (5% per level) with all guns for a short while.|
|Down not Out||4||1||You can Gunzerk while in Fight For Your Life.|
|Keep It Piping Hot||5||5||While Gunzerking is in the process of cooling down you gain bonus Gun Damage (5% per level), Melee Damage (6% per level), and Grenade Damage (5% per level).|
|No Kill Like Overkill||6||1||When you kill an enemy you gain a bonus to Gun Damage equal to the amount of excess damage you dealt to the enemy you just killed.|
RAMPAGE Skill Tree
This Skill Tree has stat bonuses and focuses on Salvador's "gunzerker" skill.

|Steady as She Goes||3||1||Reduces Recoil (80%) with both guns while Gunzerking. Additionally, each shot that hits an enemy has a chance to improve your Accuracy (30%) with both guns.|
|5 Shots or 6||3||5||Kill Skill. Killing an enemy causes every shot fired to have a chance to add ammunition into the magazine (5% per level) instead of expending ammunition.|
|Yippee Ki Yay||4||5||Killing an enemy while Gunzerking increases the amount of time you can Gunzerk (0.6 seconds per level).|
|Double Your Fun||4||1||Throwing a Grenade while Gunzerking causes you to throw 2 Grenades. The 2nd Grenade does not cost ammo.|
|Get Some||5||5||Shooting an enemy decreases the Cooldown (-0.6 seconds per level) on Gunzerking. This effect can only occur once every 3 seconds.|
|Keep Firing...||6||1||While Gunzerking, the longer you hold down the trigger, the faster your guns fire (up to 88%) and the faster you reload (up to 25%).|
BRAWN Skill Tree
This Skill Tree focuses on endurance and other physical attributes.
|Hard To Kill||1||5||Increases your Maximum Health (4% per level) and gives you a small amount of Health Regeneration (0.1% of max health per second per level).|
|Incite||1||5||Taking damage from enemies increases your Movement Speed (6% per level) and Reload Speed (5% per level) for a few seconds.|
|Asbestos||2||5||Reduces the duration of Status Effects (-8% per level) on you (such as being on Fire, Corroded, Electrocuted, or Slagged).|
|I'm the Juggernaut||2||5||Kill Skill. Killing an enemy reduces all damage (4% per level) you take for a few seconds.|
|Ain't Got Time to Bleed||3||5||While Gunzerking you Regenerate Health (up to 0.8% of max health per second per level). The lower your current Health, the more powerful the Regeneration.|
|Fistful of Hurt||3||1||Melee Override. Throw all of your weight into a punch, causing massive damage and knocking back the enemy. Fistful of Hurt has a cooldown. While Fistful of Hurt is on cooldown, "Melee" will perform a regular melee attack. Cooldown is 15 seconds.|
|Out of Bubblegum||3||5||Increases your Fire Rate (7% per level) with all gun types while your Shields are depleted.|
|Bus That Can't Slow Down||4||5||Increases your Movement Speed (10% per level) while Gunzerking.|
|Just Got Real||4||5||Increases the Damage (up to 8% per level) you deal with all gun types. The lower your health, the greater the damage bonus.|
|Sexual Tyrannosaurus||5||5||Taking damage gives you Health Regeneration (0.4% of max health per second per level) for 5 seconds. This effect does not stack multiple times.|
|Come At Me Bro||6||1||Action Skill Augment. While Gunserking, taunt your enemies and instantly gain Full Health. Taunted enemies are more likely to attack you, but for the next few seconds you gain massive damage reduction.|
