This mission starts immediately after the previous mission, "Medical Mystery," ends. You'll pick up an E-Tech weapon from the body of Dr. Mercy and Dr. Zed will ask you to use it on bandits so he can study the wounds further.

Your task is to simply kill 25 bandits using the E-Tech weapon. The main challenge that I faced was simply supplying the weapon with ammo. Kill the Bandits that appear with the ammo that you've got as you make your way out of the cave. This should net you 10-15 kills to start off with. After that, travel to any place that has plenty of bandits and stock up on ammo from an Ammo Dump Vending Machine. As long as you are killing Bandits of any kind, each one counts towards your total. Keep killing bandits, even if they are much weaker than you and you'll finish this in no time.
Travel back to Sanctuary and talk to Dr. Zed for your reward.
