With the citizens of Overlook having skulls that no longer shiver, their next move is to set up shields similar to Sanctuary. But they are going to need your help since they still can't leave their houses.

The mission is actually quite simple. All you have to do is track down five shields similar to the type that you would use. If you happen to have them in your inventory, then you're half way there. If not, you can buy them from Zed's Vending Machine or you can go kill some bandits until you find enough.
When you have your five shields in hand, go up to the meat grinder and stand by where you placed the Orbital Drop Beacon earlier so that you are looking along the length of the machine from above. You want to go into your inventory and hit the Y/Triangle button to drop each shield into the machine ONE AT A TIME. Drop one shield, wait for the machine to spit out the result and stop moving, then put the next one in. If you drop multiple shields in at one time, it may eat some of them and only give you some of them back.
Once you've converted all five shields, collect the cores that were dropped and head back to Karima. Give her the shields through the slot near the door and then talk to her for your reward.
