The Tadpole Thresher has most of the abilities of a regular thresher including using tentacles through the ground at a long distance and swatting you at close range. They can jump out of the ground, to another spot where it will burrow again. The only significant difference is that these are much weaker and frequently appear in larger numbers in support of a larger Thresher.
