Once you defeat the final boss and finish the game, you will be able to start the game over again on a second playthrough, which is called True Vault Hunter Mode (TVHM for short). Basically, you will start from the very beginning of the game with everything you had when you finished the first playthrough. Of course, enemies have now leveled up, are stronger and can drop better loot. In addition, missions will give out better rewards, like more XP or better guns. Enemies will also have new names, either in the form of a prefix (Savage Monglet), or an entirely new name (Outlaw Executioner).
