The pirate is the standard enemy type and is rather similar to the Killer Marauder. They tend to have slightly better weapons in the form of SMGs or assault rifles. Pirates are much more capable at ranged combat than the Rapscallions are so be sure to take cover when you see one. If you have a sniper rifle, that may be the best method of dealing with these enemies since it keeps you just out of range of their weapons.
