The Goose's Roost can only be accessed by a vehicle from the Catch-A-Ride. Go outside Ellie's Garage and there should be what looks like a large ramp. Use the boost on the vehicle to go off the ramp and land inside the Goose's Roost.
The Goose's Roost is a camp for the top 1% of Buzzard Pilots on Pandora and is known by the pilots as "THE PLACE WE GO TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL!" It is largely featured during a mission "Too Close for Missiles" where you are sent to collect volleyballs and jet fuel from the base to destroy the volleyball net because the man who gave you the mission was kicked out of the camp by some Shirtless Men.
The camp, the shirtless men, the volleyballs and even the mission itself are all references to the movie Top Gun starring Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer. For more information about these references, please visit our Easter Egg page.
