Markarth is a large city in the West of Skyrim, next to the border with High Rock. Much of the city is owned by the influential Silver-Blood family. A mysterious group known as the Forsworn terorrises the city, and the Dragonborn can help to solve this problem.
Jarl Igmund is initially a strong supporter of the Empire.
